In the CES 2019 event in Las Vegas, United States, Samsung released the Notebook 9 Pro which targeted the premium class. Samsung Notebook 9 Pro is a hybrid laptop that was redesigned from the Notebook 9 Pro series which was introduced in 2018.
Notebook 201 Pro version 2019 brings several updates, such as the processor and storage sector. In accordance with the segment, this notebook is made with aluminum wrapping.
The Notebook 9 Pro screen has a thin bezel on the top, left and right, while the lower bezel looks a little thick and has the words “Samsung”.
The screen carried by Notebook 9 Pro has a diagonal span of 13.3 inches with Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels).
Uniquely, this touch screen supports the use of a stylus like the Galaxy Note 9.
As quoted from Venture Beat, Tuesday (01/08/2019), Samsung is optimistic that the support for using the Active Pen stylus included in the Notebook 9 Pro sales package will be liked by the users.
Samsung says the stylus Active Pen supports more than 4,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, double that of Google’s Pixel Slate stylus and is equivalent to that of Microsoft Surface.
Samsung Notebook 9 Pro is powered by an eighth generation Intel Core i7-8565U. This processor is paired with 8GB of RAM LPDDR3 and 256GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
Samsung Notebook 9 Pro has two Thunderbolt 3 ports. In addition, there is also a USB Type C port, one MicroSD slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
This premium notebook is equipped with a 55 Wh battery which is claimed to support the fast charging feature.
In one full charge, the Notebook 9 Pro is claimed to be on for 14 hours.
Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t provided pricing information from Notebook 9 Pro. Similarly, the time of his presence was only referred to as “early 2019” without a definite date.
